Bayou Oaks Golf Facility

City Park gives residence to 72 holes of golf, played on four very different courses. Yardage ranges from 4950 yards on the Little Course to over 7000 yards on the Championship Course.   Four eighteen hole golf courses make up this exceptional golf complex. Named "the place to play in the city" by Golf Digest, Bayou Oaks offers electric carts, individual and group lessons by PGA professionals, club rentals, a fully stocked pro shop and Colonial-style Clubhouse restaurant. Located just ten minutes from downtown, the Championship West Course offers wide tree lined fairways that lead to large Bermuda greens. Plenty of bunkers and lagoons dot the East and North Courses as centuries old oaks and beautiful cypress and pines enhance the terrain. Bayou Oaks' staff of 14 golf professionals can conduct outings that range in size from 20 to 600 players. Additionally, the facility offers a meeting room for 50-75 guests and complete food and beverage service at the Clubhouse Restaurant.

Open 7 days a week, sunup to sundown.
Championship Course (West 7061 yards)

The Championship Course features length, trees, water and more length. The front nine is punctuated by bayou water and century-old oak trees. Can play longer than measured due to the afternoon Gulf winds. The bayou shoreline is often the residence of natural wildlife of Louisiana. White cranes and Great Blue herons and an occasional alligator or two are common. The fairways and greens are of Bermuda. This course is used for the New Orleans Metro Championships and
the USGA Public Links Qualifying.

Wisner Course (East 6968 yards)

The East Course, though only a mere 100 yards less than the West, is entirely a different course. Narrow fairways and small greens make accuracy a premium. The front nine, being the more difficult of the two, will test your ability. Cypress and oak-lined fairways, with the effective use of water, will make the East Course a very enjoyable golf outing.

Little Course (South 4948 yards)

This course is the one for the leisurely golf experience and a stroll. It is played amongst the oaks of City Park. This is the shortest of the four courses, but contains the most to see. Century-old trees keep you company while you play. The course winds near the New Orleans Museum of Art and an old plantation house now used by Christian Brothers School. The short yardage of the course makes it enjoyable for everyone.
